What's wrong with pedigree dogs?
Lots. Hip dysplasia, epilepsy, breathing problems, blindness, cancer, skin diseases, deafness, heart disease, diabetes!
Data shows that pedigree dogs are more likely to suffer these health problems than mixed breed dogs. For example, vets have said that pugs are up to 54 times more likely to suffer health conditions than mixed breeds.
While we love ALL dogs, we advise adopting one of our smart, loyal, friendly, hardy, mixed breed Indian dogs! But if you have set your heart on a pedigree dog, contact your local shelter as most shelters have abandoned pedigree dogs there just waiting for a new home.
